Implementasi Conceptual Reasoning Based Student Worksheet untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Mahasiswa

Abstract

Students have not been able to define and discover the nature of mathematical concepts based on logical-mathematical reasons by paying attention to the concept of thinking (reasoning). The acceptance of concepts by students is still passive without seeking proof independently. This research aims to describe the presentation of mathematical reasons of students in writing and improve the understanding students' mathematical concepts through the implementation of the Conceptual Reasoning Based Student Worksheet. This research uses the quasi-experimental design method, One group pretest-posttest design research design. This research instrument is Conceptual Reasoning Based Student Worksheet and concept understanding test consisting of pretest and posttest. Data analysis techniques are performed using the N-gain test. The results showed that students had given a logical argument at every step by applying the Conceptual Reasoning Based Student Worksheet. Understanding student mathematical concept increased with a score of N-gain of 0.47 in the medium category.
